Pickens Co. Explorer Post supports young adults ages 14-21, that are interested in the law enforcement profession. The Explorers train just as full-time deputies in events such as the following; building entries, search warrants, warrant service, traffic stops, court room testimony, etc. The Explorers who are certified and 18 YOA or older are also allowed to participate in the ride-along program, where they participate in routine patrol duties and assist road patrol deputies in answering calls for service. Over the last few weeks, our post has been aggressively preparing and training for the Mock Scale event Feb 19, 20 and 21. The Explorers in our post have been preparing multiple scenarios in order to provide a fun, educational and interactive time for all of the other posts from across the state. If you are interested in joining the Mock Scale and have not already signed up, email webmaster@pcsoexplorer.com. In the mean time, all information about events and times will be posted on the right under the upcoming events bar as soon as they become available.
